    Niagara Falls - Syracuse

Niagara Falls is a collection of three waterfalls located at the southern end of Niagara Gorge, straddling the border between Ontario, Canada, and New York, USA. Formed by the Niagara River, which flows from Lake Erie into Lake Ontario before eventually reaching the Atlantic Ocean via the Gulf of Saint Lawrence, these falls boast the highest flow rate of any waterfall in North America with a vertical drop of over 50 meters (160 feet). Afterward, we'll head to Clinton Square, where the vibrant mix of music and food creates an exciting atmosphere.

    ------------------------------
    Itinerary:

Niagara Falls Classic Tour (Optional, including Whirlpool Park + Cave of the Winds + Maid of The Mist) → Clinton Square

    ------------------------------
    Niagara Whirlpool State Park

The Niagara Whirlpool reaches a maximum depth of 125 feet and is believed to have formed around 7,500 years ago through the upstream erosion of the Niagara Escarpment by the powerful flow of the Niagara River.

    ------------------------------
    Maid of The Mist

What makes Niagara Falls truly spectacular is the combination of its height and immense volume. During peak daytime hours, over 6 million cubic feet (168,000 cubic meters) of water rushes over the crest every minute. The famous Maid of the Mist boat tour brings passengers as close as possible to the falls, sailing right into the mist created by the powerful cascade as the Niagara River plunges over the edge.

    ------------------------------

    Cave of the Winds

The Cave of the Winds, located on the New York side of Niagara Falls, offers visitors an unforgettable experience—walking right up to the base of Bridal Veil Falls, where the powerful water crashes down just inches away and flows beneath the wooden walkways.
    ------------------------------

    Clinton Square

Clinton Square has its origins in 1825, at the intersection of the Erie Canal, New York State’s early turnpike system, and the road leading to America’s largest salt works. The square is named after DeWitt Clinton, a prominent figure who served as New York City’s three-term mayor, two-term governor of New York State, and played a key role in the creation of the Erie Canal. Located in the heart of downtown Syracuse, Clinton Square is steeped in history. It is notably the site of the "Jerry Rescue" on October 1, 1851, one of the first abolitionist "mob actions" in the North, where a group freed the imprisoned fugitive slave William "Jerry" Henry. In 1910, the square was transformed into a public space with the installation of a Civil War monument.
