Southeast Coast of Oahu
Today, we’ll take a scenic tour along the southeastern coast of Oahu. Our journey includes a visit to the iconic Diamond Head Lookout and the stunning Hālona Blowhole, located in one of the island’s most upscale areas. Along the way, we’ll pass the beautiful shores of Waikiki and White Sand Beach before arriving at the breathtaking Nuuanu Pali Lookout—known for its dramatic cliffs and panoramic views.

Waikiki Beach
Waikiki is a vibrant neighborhood in Honolulu, located on the south shore of Oʻahu. It’s best known for its world-famous Waikiki Beach, one of six beautiful beaches in the area. The others include Queen's Beach, Kuhio Beach, Gray's Beach, Fort DeRussy Beach, and Kahanamoku Beach, each offering its own unique charm along the coastline.

Diamond Head Lookout
Diamond Head Lookout is a popular destination for both tourists and hikers, offering sweeping panoramic views of Oahu’s southern coastline and Waikiki. Perched above the beach, this scenic spot once served as a strategic military post due to its clear vantage point. Along the trail, visitors can explore notable historical sites, including World War II-era bunkers and underground tunnels, adding a layer of history to the breathtaking views.

Hālona Blowhole
Hālona Blowhole, a natural wonder that puts on an impressive show when conditions are right. On windy days with high tide, ocean waves crash against the shore and force water through a lava tube in the rock formation, sending sea spray soaring into the air like a geyser. When at its most active, the blowhole can shoot water as high as thirty feet!

Sandy Beach
Sandy Beach is located along the stunning southeastern tip of Oahu, offering a peaceful escape from the busy streets of downtown Honolulu. Known for its dramatic coastline and powerful waves, this remote stretch of sand spans over 300 yards—perfect for romantic walks or relaxing by the shore. On clear days, you can even catch a glimpse of the island of Molokai on the horizon, surrounded by vast, open ocean views.

Just five miles northeast of Downtown Honolulu lies the Nuuanu Pali Lookout, a scenic spot offering breathtaking views of the dramatic Koʻolau cliffs and the lush Windward Coast of Oahu. Known for its powerful, whistling winds, the lookout provides a thrilling experience as the breeze rushes up the mountainside.
